Harissa Chicken Meatballs with Herby Tahini Sauce

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1/3 c almond flour

  • 3 Tbsp parsley

  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 Tbsp harissa

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • Salt/pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 deg F convection roast.

  2. Combine all ingredients. Let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Form into golfball-sized balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Bake for about 12 minutes, until juice from the meatballs runs clear and the center is no longer pink.


Herby Tahini Sauce

  • 0.5 cup tahini

  • 0.5 cup loosely packed fresh parsley

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 4 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tsp honey

  • 0.5 tsp sea salt

  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 Tbsp onion

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

  2. Drizzle over meatballs and enjoy!
