Paleo Chicken Nuggets
Looking for a more nutrient-rich chicken nugget recipe? Using just a handful of ingredients, these are simple and fun to whip up with your family.
Serves 4
Chicken Mixture Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
¼ c almond flour
1-2 Tbsp spices (I used garlic powder, onion powder and italian seasoning)
2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
Breading Ingredients
½ c almond flour
2 T spices (I used s/p, garlic powder and smoked paprika)
(for serving) ketchup, bbq, or your favorite dipping sauce
Combine ingredients for chicken mixture.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
Form balls of chicken mixture and then flatten them before covering them in the breading.
Repeat until finished, then bake for 7 min on each side. If it seems you have more moisture on the nuggets, either dab in a bit more breading or broil for an extra 1-2 min.
Serve immediately or cool then freeze for future use!
